 Poojyashree Shree Amma was born in Rajamadam in the Pattukottai district in Tamil Nadu. Her husband, R.GopalaKrishnan, is a retired government officer and is a homeopathy doctor as well.She leads a very simple family life and lives at Chennai as any other normal housewife. Though having a large disciple following, our Gurujiamma likes to be in low profile and continue the duty of spreading Lord Krishna's Namasankeerthan..

Radhekrishna satsangam was started by Gurujiamma with a view that humans can do their duties while being a common householder and still realise God through bhakthi.The satsang has been in operation for the past 13 years in Tambaram Sanitorium, Chennai, India and the whole purpose is to propagate Krishna bhakthi movement.

Krishna bhajans are organized every Saturday between 11am and 12pm. Through Lord's order and for the benefit of the world, Gurujiamma is propagating the power of Krishna nama sankeertanam (the power of chanting of the Lord's name). Shisyas for Gurujiamma are spread throughout the world. Without any distinction among people, gurujiamma is propagating the message of bhakthi. Irrespective of their caste or creed people are flocking to gurujiamma and are enjoying the true bliss of chanting of the God's names. It is Gurujiamma's desire that we all live the way Lord wants us to live. The divine amma's messages insist that in kaliyuga, Krishna bhakthi is the best medicine for all of life's maladies.

Amma's divine message always insists that we surrender ourselves to the lotus feet and do nama japam of the Lord for joyous living.
